Below are the answers to Questions 4 and 5 of my evaluation (Jennifer Hughes)

Question 4)Who would be the audience for your media product?

The audience for our media product would be anyone who is a fan of the romantic comedy genre, or the romance and comedy as separate genres. I do not feel this product is age restricted but the nature of the plot would direct the product towards teenagers in particular as well as adults, as the use of social media and 'catfishing' which are popular in modern teenage culture, are also important elements in the story. However the light hearted comedic nature of the script is appealing to all audiences who enjoy something relaxing and humorous.

Question 5)How did you attract/address your audience?

We thought that an appropriate way to address and attract an audience to our product was to post a short teaser and description of the product on Facebook which is the social media platform we used in our product. This was certainly relevant to the product itself and was a strategic promotion method as many people around the world can view a video on the Internet in minutes. We also spread the word of the finished product to families and friends by sharing it with relatives and classmates. We have so far received positive reviews and because of the positive feedback, people began to share their project with their friends and colleagues almost starting a chain reaction which increased the audience reach.
